Title: Activities

All the activities in this guide can be completed with minimal expertise and knowledge of weeds. However, your class will benefit greatly if you get in touch with a weed expert. Ideally, try to arrange a visit.

The activities in this guide are designed to explore students’ prior knowledge of weeds, generate class discussion and encourage new and sustainable ways of managing weeds. Teachers who are themselves unfamiliar with weed issues should read the notes in Background Information on Weeds: For Teachers - What are Weeds? – they will help direct and stimulate initial discussions.
