Title: Biosecurity in the new Bioeconomy: threats and opportunities symposium program
The November 2009 symposium, Biosecurity in the new Bioeconomy: threats and opportunities, will explore how research and policy can contribute to the development of new sustainable crops for new bioindustries that pose only easily manageable economic, social or environment threats. The outcomes of this symposium will have a major impact on assisting science and policy development for managing safe production systems for the new crops of the 21st century.
