Title: re: A comprehensive review of low- and zero-residue pesticide methods in vegetable production
Editors note: The Australian Pesticide Reduction Network are members of the Agroecology Coalition and we note that while some of the methods agroecology uses to avoid pesticide use are covered in this review, the term itself is not used. The editors of Agronomy classified the study in their indexes under the term agroecology. The omission of at least a passing discussion of agroecology in the paper is therefore a little puzzling, hence this editorial comment. We have elected to cover the article in our news nevertheless as the article provides a useful and current overview of the pesticide reduction space.
